Square Enix Montreal ahve been doing videos talking about their trilogy of GO games, and they’ve just released their video on Deus Ex GO ($4.99). The video covers how this collaboration with sister studio Eidos Montreal (located a few blocks away, a walk that must be a lot better to make in spring and summer than in the snowy winter), and the later puzzle creation feature that was added a few months down the road.
If you’re hoping to hear a lot more from what’s next from Square Enix Montreal, you might not want to expect more GO games. Teddy Dief, who joined Square Enix Montreal last year after the completion of Hyper Light Drifter, likens the GO Trilogy as kind of like a band’s first album, and what they’re working on next is something they’re considering like their next big album, with the challenges of following up the first major creative statement.
