Sentinels of the Multiverse ($6.99) continues to get more content, and this time around the game received the Challenge Mode, one of the stretch goals of the Season 2 Kickstarter campaign. The Challenge Mode turns the difficulty up a notch by giving each villain a twist to his or her rules, which adds another layer of strategy on top of the existing ones. The update also adds the Ultimate Mode, which allows you to play with both the rules from Advanced and Challenge Mode at the same time, for extra challenge. Some examples of the Challenge Mode are Grand Warlord Voss playing the top card of his deck every time he flips or the Matriarch making all her domain cards indestructible. The new update also brings new achievements to the game.
Sentinels also got new Termi-Nation Variants, which are all about the mystery behind Chokepoint, Absolute Zero, Bunker, and Unity, with each hero variant also having new powers. Make sure you re-download your expansion packs (Season Pass 1, or Mini-Pack 1 and Rook City) to get the latest content. I’m still amazed at just how much content this game has, and there’s no stopping the developers, yet.
