Valentine’s Day is fast approaching, so a game with the name Candy Crush Saga (Free) couldn’t stay away from a season all about having a crush. So, in celebration of the day of buying expensive gifts for your better half, Candy Crush will run an event called Cupid’s Challenge, which will be live from February 10th to 15th and February 17th to 21st. What’s extra fun about this event is that it’s the first time Candy Crush players will get to compete against other players, which sounds like fun to me. During Cupid’s Challenge, you’ll have to help Dexter the Whale, who has donned a Cupid costume, collect 10 Striped Candies and win a Lollipop Hammer.
Once you do so, you’ll be entered into the second round, the leader board. During this round, you’ll be matched at random with 30 other players and then compete against each other for one of the top three positions. If you manage to be in the top 3, you’ll win all kinds of rewards including a Free Switch, Color Bombs, and a few hours of Unlimited Lives. Cupid’s Challenge goes live tomorrow, so keep an eye out for it.

Can't wait to see some videos of the new combat mechanics. I played WAY too much of the original, but eventually had to tap out because it was becoming an unhealthy obsession. I'm definitely interested in the sequel, but I'm a little worried I'll get sucked in all over again. :)
I'm desperate to download this game, but:
1). I don't have a desktop
2). I don't have a payment method that works in the Philippines
Anyone out there who can help me out?
The games fun but I don't like the 15 parts for a character system makes people who pay waste tons of money
I'm not someone who sinks a lot of money into F2P. I'll play consistently and maybe drop some cash if I'm off the weekend and want to put some time into it. I won't take the bait on these ridiculous "sales" for gems or otherwise.
its free and you dont need a payment system because you can just grind until it comes out here.
After a series of Logins/Logouts from both the App Store and my Settings, I finally got the option to select NONE for payment type. I wasn't see that the first 10 times or so. Only options were MC, VISA, and AMEX. Anywho, it's downloading now so thanks for the input.
Did u do something special for that to happend. The none option aint there for me either
Is it not possible to buy AppStore cards I am living in the Netherlands and I can buy them almost in every store it's a prepaid card beginning from €15,- to €500,-and the amount is put on your iPhone?
Right now I'm definitely in the Contest of Champions wheelhouse. However, I'll totally switch over if 1) the combat mechanics can be met or exceeded, and 2) there's less obtrusive F2P garbage than what Kabam shoves down my throat on a regular basis.
CoC seems more responsive/faster vs this version. Using iPhone 6S Plus btw
It require an internet connection - I am out
I have an android phone, is there anyway I can get the app at all?
Amazing!!!
It looks like the better parts being lifted from the likes of all their fighting games and definitely a few cues from Contest of Champions, primarily in the action department! I'm a fan of everything so far except for the animations on Harley and the hit confirm effects, but like Contest of Champions these things are most likely subject to change.
They officially have my money this summer. I'm so down for this!
I'm so excited! I just can't hide it!
I don't want to lose control, but I think I like it!
Works offline?
No it needs constant connection. Very unfortunate but hacking was huge in the first one so maybe that'll be better this time around.
Definitely gonna miss playing this one :( :(
The swipe motions feels a little like "cheating"but maybe that has to do that I played the well known fighters on my console with the traditional inputs.
Can I play this iphone 5?
Yes, you can.
Is the story mode in the app the same as the main story on the console??
