Brace Yourself Games has announced a new DLC for Crypt of the NecroDancer ($3.99) called Amplified. This DLC is a prequel to NecroDancer, and will feature a whole host of new stuff. Such as a new vampire character. There’s new enemies, new bosses, new weapons, new levels, and of course: new music. Over 20 new tracks featuring Danny Baranowsky, Jake “Virt" Kaufman and Mega Ran are planned. Plus, a whole remix soundtrack by the fine composers that contribute to OCRemix. I am ready.
The DLC will be launching in Steam Early Access on January 24th, so desktop players are getting it first. But the good news is that Brace Yourself has confirmed that other platforms will get the DLC at a later date, which presumably includes mobile (because I was one of the many who asked):
For those who are asking: Yes, we will bring the DLC to our other platforms after we have perfected it in Steam Early Access!

I’m ready for more Crypt of the NecroDancer whenever it comes, and the Amplified content looks like a ton more fun.
