Bring a few pinches of salt along for this story because when it comes to Five Nights at Freddy’s creator, Scott Cawthon, one can never be sure about what comes next. So, as we’ve talked about in the past, Cawthon has been developing Sister Location, a FNAF spin-off that was/is scheduled for an October PC release. As for the mobile release, it’s hard to tell with Cawthon, but it could be a simultaneous or near-simultaneous release. However, Cawthon has posted on the game’s Steam page that the game might be postponed because, and I quote, there are certain plot elements that are very dark to the point where they make him sick, and these are not easily fixed. So, in order to make the game more kid-friendly, he’s probably pulling the plug on releasing it this week and reworking it.
Now, this is Cawthon we are talking about, the man who never sticks by release dates and often drops games early out of nowhere, so take all this with a pinch of salt. If you are a FNAF fan, do you think he’s being serious, or is this another misdirection?
