Vector Unit has delivered Riptide GP: Renegade on Apple TV to you as they promised they would. It’s August 2nd, they said the game would release on that date for $9.99, and if you have an Apple TV or Nvidia Shield TV, you can play the game on those boxes. If you don’t have one of them, you’ll have to wait for the touchscreen version, but it’s coming! Vector Unit was reliable with this release, you can take their word for it! Also, it’s August, that just seems crazy.
Riptide GP: Renegade brings you more of the fast-water-vehicle racing that the series has been known for, with a story-driven campaign. You’ve just gotten out of the clink for competing in illegal water races, and now you’re out for vengeance against the man who set you up. So, you race against robots in more of the illegal out-of-circuit races to build up your profile, get another sweet jet-ski-type vehicle, and deliver your revenge unto your sworn enemy. Hey, is a silly plot worse than no plot? You race for money and upgrades on some expansive water-racing courses, might as well add some revenge in there, right?
