If your BlizzCon 2016 plans have been ruined, if your hopes of visiting the “hallowed" grounds of the Anaheim Convention Center on November 4 and 5 have been dashed, fear not because there’s a still a way to watch the convention and see what Hearthstone (Free) surprises Blizzard has in store, and that’s by buying a Virtual Ticket instead of an physical one. A Virtual Ticket, which costs $39.99, lets you watch the convention in your pajamas and away from all the crowds. You’ll get to watch the panels, interviews, and the closing ceremony among other convention moments. You’ll even be able to stream the convention using the free BlizzCon Guide (Free) mobile app. The Virtual Ticket also allows you to replay any event you missed.
If you buy a Virtual Ticket, you’ll get a BlizzCon in-game goodie (last year we got a Hearthstone card back among other stuff) and have the option to pre-purchase a BlizzCon Goody Bag, which improves your chances of getting your hands on one before they’re gone. I did the Virtual Ticket last year since I wasn’t in the country during BlizzCon, and it worked well, so if you want to watch the convention, you should pick it up. Keep in mind that you can only have one per Battle.net account, and you can buy one as a gift for a friend if you’re generous. You can buy a Virtual Ticket here, and if you’re feeling nostalgic, you can watch the opening ceremony of BlizzCon 2015 above.
