Dogbyte Games has announced its next game, Dead Venture. Like some of their other games, driving is involved, but this time you’ll be playing in an isometric view, driving around various landscapes trying to rescue survivors and complete various tasks, all in the name of reaching a far-off safe haven at a military base. There will be an 8-chapter story mode, along with endless survival, and time trial mode to peruse in your quest to kill zombies and save humanity. Check out the trailer, which is really just about a minute and a half of game footage:
This one looks like it could be some fun. Dogbyte makes some good-looking games that are a lot of fun. Like, their Blocky Roads ($0.99) is clearly inspired by Minecrafts voxel visuals, but it winds up being this really cool physics racer with a neat car-building function that stands out as more than just capitalizing on a popular trend. Dead Venture is set to release this summer.
