If you’ve been enjoying the fantastic Exploding Kittens ($4.99), I have good news for you. The game has just received the 3.0 Update, which has added the new Betrayal Card Pack that adds four very interesting cards to the game. We’re getting Fake Shuffle, that pretends to shuffle the deck but only randomizes the next card you draw, Kitten Roll Call, which relocates all the Exploding Kittens cards to the top of the deck, Alter the Future, which lets you peek at the top cards and rearrange their order, and Self Slap, which lets you slap yourself so you can take more turns in a row. As you can guess, this deck should change up the game quite a bit, especially the Kitten Roll Call card that can really put your opponents in quite a bind. The new Expansion Pack costs $1.99, which is a fair price for the pain you’ll get to inflict on everyone.
The update also makes some battery life improvements, brings back the “beloved classic" Eggplant and Party Bear emotes, and adds new Darwin emotes (we got to have more emotes). I’m glad to see the developers continue adding content to Exploding Kittens since that ensures the game will remain fresh. Hopefully, they’ll continue at the same pace and will keep adding crazy cards and features to this already-great game.
