Bit Free Games, makers of the stylish one-touch skateboarding game Halfpipe Hero (Free), are working away at their next mobile gaming project, a tile-smashing game called Brick Ninja. Like the “Piano Tile" games that flooded the market some time ago, Brick Ninja has you tapping the correct bricks as they scroll by while avoiding hitting the wrong bricks. Things ramp up to ludicrous speeds as more tiles are introduced, making this look like an insanely frantic experience. Check out the teaser.
First of all, what the heck is up with pandas and martial arts? Anyway, Brick Ninja looks like it takes a well-proven concept and injects it with a lot of variety, unlockables, and a fantastic art style. If you’re intrigued, Bit Free is actually seeking beta testers in our forums, so hit them up for a chance to check out the game early and provide some feedback. For everyone else you can most likely expect Brick Ninja to launch at some point in April.
