The Frostrune from Norwegian game developer Grimnir is a point and click adventure game that is rich in Viking history. Starting the game, the player finds themselves shipwrecked with a small building in the distance. Richly illustrated, the game has been in development since 2014 and should released late this year. Elements in the game have been taken directly from Norse history through regional museums. These included elements used in puzzles in the game and how the buildings in the game are constructed. Rune stones, central to the game and uncovering the mystery play a central role. The Frostrune is coming soon to PC and mobile.
