Orangepixel’s Heroes of Loot ($3.99) has been a mainstay on my device for the past few years, as I absolutely love how it took the typically methodical and sometimes plodding nature of a roguelike dungeon crawler and replaced it with over-the-top, chaotic shooting and an ultra-fast pace. A sequel has been on the minds of Orangepixel and the game’s fans for some time, and it officially kicked off its development late last year. It was looking great just a month into its development the last time we checked on it, but Orangepixel has been putting out even more development videos since then, with the latest one showing off quite a bit of the new features we can expect in Heroes of Loot 2, including the all-powerful fire farts.
According to a post from Orangepixel in our forums, Heroes of Loot 2 is at the point where all the various pieces of the game are done and now it’s all about adding a ton of content to make the game full. Unfortunately for the more impatient people among us (raises hand), that process will probably take a few more months according to Orangepixel’s estimation. Hey, the best things in life are worth waiting for, right?
