These days it seems like most games release on both iOS and Android at around the same time, with some exceptions. The problem is, those exceptions typically are really awesome games. The latest example of this is The Room Three ($3.99) which hit iOS in early November of last year. As of today, The Room Three is available on Google Play. If you’re an Android user who needs a little additional nudge over the edge of grabbing this game, check out our review.
In a nutshell, The Room series of games involve solving elaborate puzzle boxes. The first game basically focused on a single box to solve, but two games later in the trilogy the game has evolved into what feels like a full-blown adventure game crossed with a puzzle game. Instead of one “main" puzzle box, you’re constantly moving around, shifting between puzzles, and revealing the story. Hell, the whole series is worth playing, and the cool part is I don’t really think it matters what order you play them in.
Anyway, if you’ve got a vaguely recent Android device, I highly recommend checking out The Room Three. If you’re in the iOS camp, consider this your friendly reminder to totally download this game.
