Tree Men Games’ fun car chase simulator Pako ($1.99) remains a fun game to pick up and play for a while, in part because it’s so goofy and because updates have given it a massive amount of content, including a first-person mode that really changes the way that you play the game. And the content updates do not stop, as Pako has just gotten a wintry content update with a new level, just titled Holiday. You’ll be escaping the cops and trying not to crash in one of three new vehicles: Sledge, Xmaswagon, or the Snowcat. And the visuals now have antialiasing enabled, so the whole thing should look slightly better!
If you haven’t played Pako – which you ought to do, it’s $0.99. But hey, I get it, it’s 2015 and paying for games is so gauche now. There’s also Pako Free (Free) you can check out with only 3 locations to play in. If you want all the cool stuff and potential for more updates, you’ll have to shell out the $0.99, but this at least lets you play this fun game at no cost.
