Yesterday we got a glimpse of the Grand Warden, the new hero coming in the Clash of Clans (Free) Town Hall 11 Update. However, we only got to see him do his thing on offense; today, we also got to see him on defense. The Warden turns into a statue when he goes into defense as you can see in the video below. As you should know by now, the Grand Warden can go into air or ground mode, and he’ll turn into a statue in both modes. When he turns into a statue, his Life aura will buff the Heroes, the Clan Castle troops, and the Skeleton Trap skeletons around him, which should help strengthen your villages’ defenses considerably. Add to the passive buff (and to the Eternal Tome invincibility aura) the Warden’s own long-range attack, and you can see how he should be an important defense factor. The video also shows him defending on ground mode and his transition from patrol to statue mode.
So, what do you think of the Grand Warden now that we’ve seen all his abilities on both defense and offense? From what I’ve seen and read, most people think he’ll be a pretty substantial threat, but it’s hard to know how everything will work since even in this video we don’t really see him in a fully upgraded Town Hall 11 village. We might get another sneak peek (slightly unclear whether we’ll get another one tomorrow), and it’s likely (but far from certain) that we’ll get the update this week. I’ll keep you informed the moment we have more info about the release day.

Wonder if there is ever gonna be an option to use picture or black borders and switch them at liking, is it so hard to implement in any game? Or a stretch screen size?
Yeah, seriously. I would have preferred the original black letter boxing. At least that disappears.
At least square enix updates their games. I would we could say the same for 2k with bioshock or capcom monster hunter. Any updates on these two
Check out the App Store reviews for this one ... Crashing at launch, lost save files, 1.5 stars on average. I'd just as soon have no update as a bad update.
It doesn't need a visual overhaul. It needs a leveling mechanic overhaul. The game's basic way of improving skills is obnoxiously tedious and too easily abused.
It remains the only old-school Final Fantasy game I've never finished, even including FF Dimensions.
Something I'd like to see them add to all FFs is the auto-battle system.
So... You want them to get rid of the game's sole major unique characteristic? Makes sense.
The talk to this specific person or else you don't advance, where you have to memorize what someone said, hasn't been exactly replicated. It makes the game too difficult for some without a guide (myself included) but it is unique. You can say other things were done after because they worked in this game. Guest characters anyone??? Hindsight is 20/20 when a mass release reached the US AFTER 10. Respect the 1988 original release date when it first arrived.
Whoa. Zombie wrote that. Tired... Fun facts of FF2 :)
Awesome, now if only they'd get cracking on Chaos Rings 3 and its issues on the new devices.
Come on Square update now drakerider and even chaos rings 2 personally i cant stand at all the new art direction in chaos rings 3
Instead of a visual upgrade, I'd rather see a Save Anytime option and an Auto Battle option to make it more mobile-friendly.
I got this a month ago during the free promotion with Final Fantasy Portal App.
You can save anytime other than in battle.
Shaun can you do an article on bioshock or monster hunter if they will upgrade
