Picking up from yesterday’s reveal of Level 7 Minions, today’s Clash of Clans (Free) Town Hall 11 Update reveal is all about Level 3 Witches, and not everyone is excited about that. The Level 3 Witch looks slightly different than in previous levels, but the most important change is that she will summon 5 instead of 4 skeletons with the max present at any point being 10 instead of 8. The increased number of skeletons should make a big difference against multi-target defenses since there’s an extra one (or two) targets to hit before hitting the Witch. As you can see in the video, she looks pretty strong, but it’s hard to say if she’ll be able to help you take down the new, pretty-strong Town Hall 11 defenses. The other change announced is the reduction of nexting costs at Town Hall 10, possibly down from 1000 gold to 850 gold, a significant advantage for those who pick the right kind of village to attack.

I’ve been monitoring reddit throughout these two weeks, and I have to say that the mood has definitely gone from excited to relatively-indifferent when it comes to these reveals. Yes, reddit will be reddit, but there’s definitely a change in how excited the community was when the reveals started. Perhaps it’s simply that everyone just wants the update to drop or that spoiling two new troop levels in two days isn’t necessarily the most exciting kind of reveal. Still, according to the video, we have yet to see the biggest parts of the update, so we’ll see what else is in store for us. If I had to guess, I would say the update should drop in the middle of next week, but I might be wrong on that.
