Godzilab struck gold a little over three years ago with their sickeningly adorable (I mean that in a good way) town-building game Happy Street (Free). With dozens upon dozens of different shopfronts, characters and mini-games to flesh out your happy little street with, Happy Street sucked in tons of players in a big way, myself included. In the midst of releasing near-constant updates for Happy Street, Godzilab has been working on a follow-up title called Pirate Power, which was soft-launched in late June. It takes many of the town-building aspects of Happy Street but puts a greater emphasis on exploration and combating enemies. This brand new trailer gives us a look at that combat portion of Pirate Power.
Since its initial soft-launch in June, Godzilab has been collecting tons of feedback from early players in our forums and the game has undergone some tweaks and fixes. If you have access to a Canadian iTunes account you can grab Pirate Power from the link below. No solid worldwide release date has been set just yet, but we’ll keep an eye out for more details on Pirate Power in the weeks and months to come.
