‘EA Sports UFC’ Mobile Adds…Bruce Lee?!

TouchArcade Rating:

EA Sports’ UFC Mobile (Free) not long ago added Ronda Rousey to its app icon as the new face of the game after previous cover athlete Jon “Bones" Jones was allegedly involved in a felony hit and run. Now, the game has added another famous face to feature in the game, albeit not someone known for their excursions in the octagon, but as a martial arts expert: Bruce Lee.

This may sound like a weird addition, and it kind of is, but he was actually in the console version of the game last year, so it’s not entirely unexpected, to say the least. Bruce Lee, available as a flyweight or lightweight division fighter, will be free to play as from August 25th to September 3rd, but you’ll have to unlock him after that. While he sadly died well before MMA was a thing, it’d be really interesting to see just how well he would do. Guess we’ll have to just live with the virtual version of him fighting real-world MMA fighters.
