What happens when you apparently dump all of your creativity into a game and leave nothing left over for the actual title of said video game? It’d seem the answer is the aptly named Red Game Without a Great Name ($1.99) which hit the App Store last night. It is really red, and that name is definitely not great, but it’ll be interesting to see if that matters or not. In the game, you play as a mechanical steampunk bird on the mission of delivering secret messages, controlled using touch and swipe mechanics to make your bird warp all over the screen while you try to avoid dying over and over and over.

If you’re still curious how all these things go together, take a look at this narrated gameplay video which explains it all a bit more in depth:
The game has 60 levels, 180 gears to collect, 3 different power-ups, and a red enough color palette to make you feel like you might be playing on a Virtual Boy. We’ll have some more in-depth coverage of the game soon, but if you’ve been waiting for Red Game Without a Great Name you might as well grab it now.
