Monday today, so another Warhammer news day is upon us; of course, all the other days of the week are Warhammer news days too because of the torrent of Warhammer games coming our way recently. Still, I have no issue with Games Workshop licensing games as if the world ends tomorrow because I love the Warhammer universe and strategy games, so more often than not I enjoy Warhammer games. One of the three or four (that I know of) Warhammer games coming out soon, Warhammer: Arcane Magic, has just released a new trailer that offers more gameplay details and gives us a better sense of how the game will play on iOS.
Judging from the video, the lore is strong with this one as the developers try to do their source material justice and bring all the monsters from Warhammer to your iPad and iPhone (yes, the game is universal). According to the trailer, the game offers up to 45 unique spells (which are the CCG part of the game), among them ones that let you control the monsters you meet along the way. You can upgrade those spells as you play through the two single-player campaigns that will take place across sixteen lands. The developers have already stated that the game will go the premium route and that they plan to release more content for the game post-release. We don’t have a definite release date, but according to the developers, the game should be coming out “in the near future."
