World of Tank Blitz (Free), the best tank game on iOS, just got updated, and even though this update isn’t that substantial, it still adds some interesting new things. As we wrote a few days ago, the update adds a new map, “Port Bay," which is very big map with mixed terrain (hills and town). The update also allows players to reset Crew Skills, which is great if you are on the players who selected crew skills before really knowing how effective each skill is. The update also fixes an issue with platoon creation; before the update, you could find a platoon consisting of a Tier 10 and a Tier 1, forcing the Tier 1 to struggle among the powerful beasts of the higher tiers (or simply troll the rest of the players). Now, you are only allowed to create a platoon if the tanks are of the same tier or one tier apart.

The update has also balanced some tanks, with the Jagdpanther, the T25 AT, the T25/2, and the T28s getting buffed both in reload speed and HP. This buff should make them more survivable, a necessity in the smaller maps that don’t offer good sniping positions for Tank Destroyers. Go here if you want to read the full patch notes. Personally, I hope that the next update offers some more substantial additions/changes because I’m worried that the game is getting a bit stale.
