Nitrome’s Platform Panic (Free) was a remarkably fun game even when it initially released, but the game keeps improving. The first major update added new character-specific abilities. The second big update, releasing next week, gives you new challenges to try and avoid. The number of rooms in the game is pretty much doubling, according to Nitrome; you’ll have new spikewheels to try and dodge. Emphasis on try, as these things just keep coming. The robots now occasionally ride in drill tanks. But those seem like they’ll pale in comparison to the lasers and crushers you’ll have to dodge:
Eesh, good luck with that. The update will launch next week, on May 14th. You’ll also have a new character, Clive, to play around with, who will cost 400 coins. Huzzah! Platform Panic is still really fun, and a solid combination of retro aesthetic with modern score-chasing gameplay, all for free. And it’s just getting bigger and better with new updates.

One of my all-time iOS favorites. I just wish there was the option to change the language. German isn't half as funny. And there is one big mistake, instead of "Total Score" the German version says "Mitwirkende" ("participants") in the last two versions... maybe Pixeljam reads and can finally correct this one. This game is just too good, therefore little errors like this bug me twice as much :)
Translating was expensive. Sounds like it was a waste of money for us!
Don't worry, it's not that bad, the general translation is quite good. Still, some jokes get lost a little. Obvious is only that one words since it's quite big at the end of each run.
Awsome game. Even though it can be a "trial" to control sometimes, worth the effort to play, love it
I think it's easiest to control with buttons.

I've tried this new update and I'm enjoying the game more now. They've increased the drops for power ups which makes the game a lot more fun to play. So fun to get into the game after these great changes, nicely done
This game is such a joy to play. Everything about it is my favorite.
