[appicon url="https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/id660730799?mt=8"]To celebrate the release of Stealth Inc. 2 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Windows (via the Humble Bundle store), Curve Digital has slashed the price of it’s iOS predecessor. For this weekend only, you can snatch Stealth Inc. ($4.99) for free on the App Store.
The game was originally called Stealth Bastard Deluxe: Tactical Espionage Arsehole when it was originally released on PC way back in 2011. It came to iOS a few years later under a more family-friendly moniker, and we mostly enjoyed the clone-themed puzzle-platformer, despite its virtual controls: “If you enjoy difficult puzzle games, and haven’t yet tried this game, you owe it to yourself to give it a shot. The controls carry over well, it’s fun, and it’ll take you a while to get through all the chambers."
As seen in the trailer, your job is to outsmart whatever nightmarish testing facility you’re in and sneak through a series of ever-more elaborate torture boxes. At least those faceless sadists have a sense of humor about all the lasers, buzzsaws, and killer robots trying to turn your bespectacled clone into pulpy red giblets: “You’ve come a really long way for someone so average!"
This is the first time Stealth Inc. has ever been free, so take advantage while you can.
