Bounce On ($1.99) is one of the original iOS classic platformers, and it’s gotten a nice refresh in order to keep it up with modern devices. It’s gotten an iOS 8 fix, yes, but this game hasn’t been touched since an iOS 7 update back in 2013, and the last updates before that were in 2010. Team Phobic has transferred the game over to Iddy Biddy Games, who immediately got on adding widescreen support along with Game Center support.

Along with Bounce On, Bounce On 2: Drallo’s Demise ($3.99) was transferred to Iddy Biddy Games, who released the third game in the Bounce On series, Bounce On Back ($2.99), earlier this year. Bounce On 2 should be getting the widescreen and iOS 8 update as well – the Lite version has been updated, but the paid version has yet to be updated, possibly just a matter of Apple approvals. The original Bounce On is an App Store classic, and it’s good to see some maintenance work being done to keep it functional for everyone to check out all these years later.
