Late last month some new screenshots for a game called The Quest Keeper caught our attention, as it looked to blend the awesome stylings of Crossy Road (Free) with more traditional dungeon crawler mechanics. In other words, it looked really cool. Yesterday, the developer of The Quest Keeper Tyson Ibele posted the first gameplay trailer for the game showing what it’s like in action. Spoiler alert: It looks even cooler in motion.
While definitely inspired by Crossy Road in terms of aesthetics, The Quest Keeper should play quite a bit differently as it’s not a hop-one-square-at-a-time game, and rather has you constantly moving and changing directions in order to collect all the glorious loot without falling to your death or otherwise meeting your untimely end. The Quest Keeper is just getting its final touches and should be submitted to Apple within the coming days, so look for more on it very soon.
