Get Excited: Glu’s Making Katy Perry Games Because ‘Kim Kardashian: Hollywood’ Did so Well

Get excited, folks. After last year’s Kim Kardashian: Hollywood (Free) which made noted cultural icon Kim Kardashian West not only very rich but also a darling among game critics, thanks to the game’s progressive politics and feminine focus, Glu is about to launch another game starring a popular female celebrity. Katy Perry and Glu have signed a five-year exclusive agreement to make games with her. Get excited for games from the flamboyant singer, known for such hits like “Firework," “I Kissed a Girl," “Teenage Dream," “E.T.," “Dark Horse," and more chart-topping hits! Imagine this, but as a game:

A Glu representative said “Glu is focused on building the premier Hollywood gaming platform." So, expect plenty more popular celebrities to pop up in Glu games. After all, Game of War (Free) has Kate Upton. Who knows, maybe Taylor Swift will pop up in a Gameloft game, Rihanna in Dungeon Keeper 2, Nicki Minaj in a Candy Crush game, and Meghan Trainor might terrorize Liam Neeson in the next Clash of Clans (Free) commercial. Get excited, folks!

And if Left Shark isn’t in the first Katy Perry game by Glu, then we riot.
