Sons of Anarchy: The Prospect was announced a few weeks ago, with the aim of serving as a sort of ‘expanded universe’ take on the universe of the TV series, which just ended a seven-season run. While we didn’t quite have any details on what the game would entail, but we do now, thanks to a rough cut of a trailer for the game that show creator Kurt Sutter posted over the weekend. Check it out here:
The game promised to be very much like Telltale’s story-driven games, and the visual look is very similar at first glance here. Promises of important decisions, plenty of violence, and even drug use are shown off in the trailer for the mobile-first game. It’ll be interesting to see how this episodic game plays out: Telltale are obviously experts in this category of interactive fiction games, and if you come at the king, you best not miss. Can Orpheus Interactive and Kurt Sutter deliver a quality experience that will please Telltale-style game fans and fans of the show? Time will tell, though we still have no concrete release date yet.
