NimbleBit’s Tiny Tower Vegas (Free) has received its first batch of new content today, and it’s celebrating the internet’s favorite holiday – Halloween. There’s a special Halloween lobby to unlock. Want a giant jack-o-lantern as the roof of your tower? That’s available now, too. A new Halloween elevator, with bats, a coffin, and pumpkin on top, is also available. Special Halloween missions and floors are available, and of course, there’s BitBook posts that are themed after the spookiest holiday of them all.

This is the first major content update for the game, and interestingly it didn’t require any sort of update through the App Store. It seems this holiday-themed content was simply hidden away in the app already, and it’d be cool to see ones based off of other holidays in the future. I want a giant Santa Claus on Christmas. Perhaps a giant King Kong to celebrate when that came out, come March 2nd. And on April Fool’s Day, the game could shamelessly lift content from a Zynga game.

The Halloween content is only available through Halloween, so prepare to be disappointed if you think Halloween should be year-round. It’s special because it comes once a year. But don’t worry: you can always put do the Pumpkin Dance whenever you darn well feel like:
