Gameloft’s Asphalt 8 (Free) is one of our favorite arcade racers, and Gameloft isn’t giving up on supporting it. A new update just hit which adds a bunch of new cars, along with some other tweaks. They uploaded a new trailer as well, showing off the sick new rides you can unlock:

- Ford 2006 GT
- Hennessey Venom GT
- Mercedes Benz CLK GTR AMG
- Mercedes SLS AMG
- 2015 Ford Mustang
So, yeah, if you’re like me and have automatic updates turned on and miss these sorts of things, consider checking out Asphalt 8 again to drop some of your in-game coin on the new cars. I’m still pretty jazzed we see this many actual real licensed cars in iOS games, it wasn’t that long ago when the thought of having licensed anything in an iOS game was a pretty big deal.
