A couple of weeks ago, Atari created quite a buzz by mentioning the beloved and long-dormant franchise RollerCoaster Tycoon on their Twitter account. Nobody really knew what to make of it, but things just got more confusing from there as a few days later they tweeted another mention of the game along with the hashtag #RCT4M where many people speculated that the “M" stood for mobile. Well, they were right, as this week Atari has officially announced RollerCoaster Tycoon 4 Mobile for iPhone, iPod touch and iPad devices. Here’s a brief trailer.
RollerCoaster Tycoon on mobile will launch for $2.99 and will feature 20 pre-designed coasters and a host of new attractions to build out your theme park. You’ll be able to share your park with others as well as visit your friends’ parks and exchange coaster blueprints. RollerCoaster Tycoon 4 Mobile is set for an “early spring" release, so we’ll give you a heads up when a definite release date is announced.
