Infinity Blade III ($6.99) is set to receive what developer Chair is calling “The biggest Infinity Blade update ever!" next week, on December 19th. The update is called Ausar Rising, and features the return of Siris’ previous incarnation Ausar the Vile. Together with Isa, they’ll set out to destroy the dark mirror of Ausar in a series of new quests featuring new enemies which include two new Deathless. You’ll also be able to return to the castle from the original Infinity Blade, the God King’s Dark Citadel, for the first time, as well as other new environments.
In addition, the sixth and final Infinity weapon, the Infinity Edge, will now be obtainable, and there will be a second fight against a dragon, named Pisci, once you’ve defeated the first dragon Ba’el. Even more new goodies include a Deathless Mode, Survival Arena, an item mastering level increase up to 20, a new chat service for ClashMobs called MyMob Chat, a new Holiday Helm, and tons of new items, gems, skills and goals. Basically, a metric ton of new stuff. It’s all explained further in this following video for the Ausar Rising update.
As if all this new free content wasn’t enough, if you snag the update when it’s first available on December 19th you’ll have a shot at an incredibly rare “Day One Exclusive" gem. The details surrounding this gem and how to get it remain under wraps for now, but Chair says to keep an eye on InfinityBlade.com for more information soon. Also, don’t forget that today is the start of Infinity Blade III‘s first ClashMob Special Event, which we detailed earlier this week, so be sure to get in on that action and keep an eye out for the Ausar Rising update to hit by this time next week.
