TA Plays Rewind: ‘Solomon’s Keep’ and ‘Solomon’s Boneyard’ – Dual Stick Shooter, Wizard Style

TouchArcade Rating:

183754_largerAs we’ve been doing these TA Plays Rewind videos, one game that seems to keep popping up in comments as one we should do is Solomon’s Keep (Free). So, alright, no problem, but it seems weird to capture some video of Solomon’s Keep without making it a double header with Solomon’s Boneyard (Free) as well.

Solomon’s Boneyard is the endless arena-based brother of Solomon’s Keep, and while Jared and I both greatly prefer the somewhat linear progression of Keep, if all you’re looking for is a quick pick up and play session, Boneyard might be for you.

Check ’em out:

It’s hard to say just how much to recommend these games these days, as neither have iPhone 5 support or are even universal. Regardless, they’re classics, so as long as that sort of thing doesn’t bother you I say grab ’em both.

Man these controls are tough. What's the secret?

      1. Xissoric

Oh man, I had a major problem with the controls when I first started playing. Turning up the sensitivity to full definitely helps, but then just playing a few rounds also helps to familiarize yourself with it.

Sweet game, you guys should give it a try for free.

Can anyone confirm if hard as advertised? Am interested.

Yes, it is. Challenging but never unfair and randomized to keep you on your toes.
        And it's free to try...
