It’s a relatively calm week this week for game releases, likely because no one wants to even attempt to compete with Angry Birds. And really, who can blame ’em, Angry Birds Space is going to be plastered all over, well, everything. Even underwear, it’d seem.
All of these games should be available at 11:00 PM Eastern, with the exception of Angry Birds Space. Rovio is pulling the worldwide release lever at 12:01 AM Pacific, so, everyone will be able to snag it at the same time.
Angry Birds Space, 99¢ / HD – Forum Thread – I’ll come right out and admit it. I love Angry Birds, and I’m totally excited for Space. What of it? UPDATE: Retina support confirmed!
Chubby Bunny, 99¢ – Forum Thread – A simple looking carrot-munching puzzle game.
Hunters 2, $4.99 – Forum Thread – The original Hunters was a really cool game (check out our review) so I’m expecting big things from the sequel.
Light the Flower, 99¢ – Forum Thread – You know those mirror moving puzzles that seem to exist in basically every action RPG? Well, here’s an entire game based around that mechanic. I’m not sure if that’s a good thing or a bad thing.
Madcoaster, 99¢ – Forum Thread – This high scoring rollercoaster racing game looks pretty cool, I dig the sense of speed it seems to have.
rComplex, 99¢ – Forum Thread – A remake of a 2009 indie title, I’m not sure I could love the art style of this game any more than I already do.
Swordigo, $1.99 – Forum Thread – A 2.5D action platformer from the creators of Soosiz. A level up system, magic system, equipment, and iCloud syncing is all music to my ears.
