u missed on the video it says it has (but not shown) brake assits and auto acceleration. and that although the video shows it in pre-beta it will go into the "beta" stage soon.

but the game looks like it will rock!!

I wonder when it will release... was supposed to be out by now.

Thanks for the welcome Arn, just one small correction - I'm a "she", Alex as in Alexandra ;) Although everyone seems to think I'm a guy when they see my name!

Rocketman919, we haven't announced the release date yet since the game is still in development, but I hope to have some news on that soon.

The licensed music they boast about in the video is mind blowingly awful. I'd sooner shoot myself in the head than listen to such dross.

doesn't look as good as nfs. and yeah i agree the music is terrible!

The game looks sweet, but why isn't it in fullscreen?

Looks great but are the backgrounds always the same?

This should be a cracker - Firemint's Mega Monster on the NVIDIA SC15 was just too awesome for words, I know they can do a very good job on mobile class hardware, very much looking forward to this.

Yep, agree with the others - the music is dire!!! Why do all racing game developers assume their players are mindless heavy metal drones?!?! Driving a performance or racing car the only sound you should hear (sadly lacking in the demo video) is the engine and screeching tyres etc.... not that dirge you've chosen to put in it. So I really hope you will have good, realistic car sounds and have the option of turning the thrash metal off!!!
Apart from that the game looks very good and I will definitely check it out when it comes out.

People shouldn't really compare this with NFS. NFS is an arcade racer through and through, while this looks to be more of a sim style racer. If anything, NFS should be compared with Firemint's Fast and the Furious Pink Slip (in which case EA has it's work cut out for it), while this game should be compared more to Ferrari GT and Fastlane.

As for the music...I don't mind it. For those that do, there'll probably be an option to turn it off. As is, I don't think it'll effect the enjoyment of the game too much. Reminds me not only of Sega/AM2's Ferrari F355 Challenge in that regard: sim based racer with godawful butt rock music.

I also didn't like the music that much. But the game-woah.
NFS may have some real competition.

    Music is absolutely awful!
