It's the end of 2013, and we've gone crazy this week listing all of the absolute best games. On this episode, we talk about our Game of the Year pick, and why we chose the games we did. Definitely check it out if you were wondering what the motivation was behind some of the posts you've seen this week...

On the eve of the iTunes freeze, Jared, Mike, and I all joined together to listen to Jared attempt to operate his $6 slide whistle, which is a thing that actually exists- Joining the library of dumb crap Jared owns such as eagle talon backscratchers. Oh, and we talk about the latest and greatest iOS games, get into how tired we are of the supermarket impulse buy candy display of power ups in games, and touch on some of the hottest news of the week...

Hey dudes, sorry for skipping last week but we're back with an XXL Hungry Man sized (and flavored) podcast covering all the games we've been playing recently, the ridiculous amount of news that has been blowing up this week (largely focusing around what's coming out next week) and talked about a developer who apparently really hates Mikey Shorts. It's fun, and again, sorry for the small amount of construction noise, it should be gone by next week...

We hope everyone had an excellent Thanksgiving with this special episode of The TouchArcade Show that we recorded before Thanksgiving. We'll be back to our regularly scheduled and regularly recorded podcasts next week when we're not tap-dancing around holiday travel plans. Anyway, apologies in advance for my voice, I was just on the cusp of getting sick, so things are a little deeper and scratchier than usual. Additionally, I admit to playing Hay Day...

This week's episode we actually recorded a day early, so all the amazing things which happened (or didn't happen!) today will be discussed next week. Anyway, we spend a lot of time chatting about the recent war of virtual pet releases, other cool games of the week, relevant news, and then a big long discussion on the iOS 7 game controllers we played with...

With the PS4 hitting store shelves today (Or last night if you're particularly hardcore) we dedicated a good portion to the start of our podcast discussing our plans for next generation consoles. Jared is in "wait and see" mode, I'm waffling on a Xbox One, and Mike Meade apparently is happy with his Nintendo 64. From there, we move on to talking about the latest and greatest games, how awesome the Retina iPad mini is, and the relevant news of the week...

We dive right in talking about Blizzcon, although at the time of recording not a while lot had happened yet. We're hopefully for some super sweet iOS announcements, but, who knows. From there we hop into game discussion of both currently released and upcoming games before diving into the recent controversy over ads in video games. Rounding out the podcast, of course, is the new of the week plus the most monumental story of all: Mike Meade finally upgraded from his 3GS to an iPhone 5...

On this very special iPad Air launch day edition of The TouchArcade Show we talk about our plans with the new iPad Air, the Retina Display iPad Mini, and Jared's crazy idea of an iPad Pro. From there we dive into some game discussion, both new and old games that we've played this week. And of course, we go over all the cool news stories of the week and the not so cool news stories...

We start the show out with a bang, talking about the recent Apple keynote, how we were wrong on just about everything, and how we're transferring those proverbial eggs to another basket. From there we move on to talking about my recent visit to the King.com headquarters before diving into the games we've been playing this week. Oh, and we make sure to pull the bus over to talk about the most iOS 7-y app of all, Tweetbot 3 [$4.99]. There was a lot of news this week, so we blast through most of the big stories in the event that you missed anything...

This week starts with some chat about GTA V, the iFruit app, and other console-y things before hopping back on the iOS-relevancy bus to discuss the huge games of the week and the huge disappointments of the week. We also dip into talking about the risk and reward that went into playing 25¢ arcade games, how that doesn't translate so well to arcade ports... And Sonic the Hedgehog, because why not...

Mike, Jared, and I belt out a massive podcast two weeks in a row, starting with my adventures in home buying and emotionally coming to grips with high radon levels. We move on to talk about some of the games we've been playing this week with subsequent mini-discussion on various aspects of game design. Following the break, we get into the news, talk about some upcoming releases, and then blather on about the Apple event which is likely being hosted on the 22nd. Oh, and we answer some fan mail...

This week's extra-long mega-episode of the TouchArcade show starts out with some complaining about how Grand Theft Auto V's multiplayer hasn't worked all week, Jared's trip to San Francisco where he visited Gree, EA, Gameloft, and Sega, and then moved on to talking about the games of the week. On the news front, a surprising amount of stuff happened this afternoon that we were able to talk about in a super-timely manner...

On this week's episode of the TouchArcade Show, we actually manage to dive right in to iOS talk. Staring the show off with our tales of standing in line for the iPhone 5s, dealing with launch day coverage on zero sleep, and how much we've come around on touch ID. From there, we move on to the standard game chat before taking a break to come back to chat about adventures in house hunting, the three Steam announcements this week, and some crazy happenings in the iOS gaming world...

On this week's episode of the TouchArcade Show, I tell the tale of my brand new Philips Hue lights, which are totally excessive by every stretch of the imagination but at the same time really cool. From there, we move on to talking about the insane iOS 7 adoption rate and interest from "normal people" before moving on to the requisite game chat of the huge releases this week and finally finishing up with some news. We had intentions to talk about our iPhone 5s line experiences, but because of time zone craziness and overall being-awake-for-over-24-hours-fatigue that's going to need to wait until next week...

On this week's episode of the TouchArcade show, we start things off with a bang with our obsession with jousting, Medieval Times, and natural horsemanship enthusiast Mike Meade. We wallow in our failed keynote predictions, discuss what color iPhones we're going to get, and discuss the latest and greatest games to hit the App Store. Oh, and we dip into some PlayStation Vita TV and Surface 2 chat, which is always fun...
