We actually recorded this yesterday, as the first thing we did once getting back to the hotel after E3. It's all fresh in our brains, and we go over everything we saw that was cool. It was a great E3, and with how much the presence of mobile stuff has grown over the years I'm stoked to see what it's like in 2015...

LogoIt's been a pretty overwhelming week for us at WWDC, and with E3 next week, Jared and I are on the cusp of trying to have a relaxing weekend at his shack before heading down to LA. In this weird and sort of short podcast, we discuss the stuff we saw at WWDC and the future of iOS with all the cool new iOS 8 features on the horizon.

From there, we quickly blow through some of the cooler news this week, and break just in time to bro out and watch Smackdown. Next week's podcast might be a little weird too, but we'll be back to our normal format in a couple weeks when all these events are over.

LogoIn our pre-WWDC/E3 show, we spend a lot of time talking about just how amazing Battleheart Legacy is before Jared and Mike go off the deep end on some insane Nintendo tangent that somehow involved the Oculus Rift. I don't even know, I think my brain rebooted. Oh, and of course we cover other cool news and talk about our plans for the following weeks covering both events.

486553_largerThis is a bit of a weird episode as with Jared and I both spending part of the week travelling to visit other studios, we didn't talk about new games that much as we focused on upcoming games we saw at both Gameloft and King. It's a good time either way, I promise.

968139_largerOn this XXL episode of The TouchArcade show, we do what we usually do, just for longer. iOS games, make fun of Mike for not paying any attention to how his games are doing on Android, chat about the news, and wrestling. The YES! movement is still alive.

Podcast-Illustration-0121This week's episode is home to loads of actual relevant chat about iOS games, as well as wines, cheeses, wrestling, and well… You know, the rest. If nothing else, it's nice to get some kind of vague conclusion on the "Nintendo should…" stuff.

502371_largerWith the WWE pay per view Extreme Rules on the horizon, we fight through talking about the weird week of iOS releases that we had and the relevant news to make it through to the wrestling chat at the end of the show. If you don't care about that sort of thing, that's fine, we tell you when to stop listing. Wrestling chat also makes this an extra long podcast, so you've been warned.

iconzMike apparently decided to celebrate the return of Jared by not showering the entire week and sleeping during the day instead of at night. A real king's welcome in the iOS world. Anyway, this week we talk about the huge games of the week, Tilting Point as a publisher and what they're doing different, physical versus virtual board games, and whether or not tweens care about Monopoly these days. Exciting stuff, I tell you.

635699_largerThis week's episode is a little weird, as Jared had to leave super last minute before we started recording... So I grabbed Rocketcat Games' Kepa Auwae who apparently is fighting a vicious illness and was highly medicated. We don't really follow the typical show format with game and news discussion, and instead just chat about random stuff as it pertains to things that Kepa and his studio are working on, game design, and other stuff.

We'll have a normal episode next week, I promise. Maybe I'll even know the correct episode number.

Podcast-Illustration-0121There was a moment there at the start of the recording of this podcast that we might be Mike-less, as every time he spoke on Skype he sounded like a late-80's dot matrix printer printing out a 30 page Print Shop Deluxe banner. But, we overcame all odds and put a podcast together anyway, hitting the hot games of the week, relevant news... And loads of Wrestlemania chat. Don't worry, wrestling junk is at the end if you're not the kind of person who cares about that stuff.

We've got a super XXL sized podcast today that was... surprisingly on topic. It begins with an email from a concerned listener asking us to stop talking about Flappy Bird which inexplicably lead into a discussion about Flappy Bird. We're trying to stop, I swear. From there, we get on to talking about the hottest games of the week (of which there were many) and then we discuss the parallels between people who get mad about IAP and our childhood when we thought the people who ran pizza places with arcade machines were jerks. It's an oddly identical comparison, weirdly enough...
