Fighting Fantasy Legends [$4.99] brings three classic gamebooks—City of Thieves, Citadel of Chaos, and The Warlock of Firetop Mountain—to mobile, letting you enjoy Steve Jackson and Ian Livingstone's legacy. This is the 35th anniversary of Fighting Fantasy, so it's amazing that after all this time, these books are still so popular. The game has you exploring Allansia, taking down monsters and rogues, and figuring out various mysteries as you try to complete your quest. The game deviates from the books, so it shouldn't be boring for those who've read the books in the past, and also adds cards that should help the game feel and play differently.

The game will have you rolling a ton of dice, so make sure you sacrifice to the gods of RNG before loading Fighting Fantasy Legends. If you're into gamebooks, this game should be another fun take on the classic recipe. The game is out now, and it costs $4.99.

Oh hi. This looks like a game I’ll spend hours on.

Is it just me or is it increasingly rare to get links to the forums in game articles now?

Think I will wait for TA/Sean's review, some if the things I have read make me think this is not quite the game the videos indicate. As an FF fan, and with tin man games and ink le doing amazing jobs, I want to make sure this is worthy of the brand

I'm holding off until I see how it stacks up against Tin Man's work.

      • FivepastTA

I'd take a Nomad game over a Tin Man game any day of the week.

So if it is never reviewed you will never buy it? Wow. You must not buy a lot of games since Carter left.

      • Morgan Leecy

Correct, I have plenty of games, if I miss a few so be it. As already noted, what a have read so far means I am not buying it. If Sean (who I trust with regards to fighting fantasy) reviews it and it's positive I buy it.
