Foursaken’s ‘Noblemen: 1896’ Shows Off More Gameplay in New Trailer

Foursaken Media has given us some pretty cool games in the past, and the hybrid 3rd-person shooter/top-down strategy game Noblemen: 1896 looks like it will be the developer’s best so far. Today, we got to see another trailer with more gameplay, and, as you can see for yourself below, the game looks really fun. The soldier in this trailer is wearing a heavy armor set and carrying a huge shield, which acts like mobile cover for when you’re stuck in the open. The visuals look really nice—especially the lighting effects—and the whole game looks like it’s coming along just fine. Noblemen: 1896 will have you planning your attacks from a top-down perspective and then fighting those battles from a 3rd-person perspective. And if you aren’t a fan of either the top-down part of the shooting part, you can auto-battle the part you don’t like.

The game takes place in an alternate late 19th century and has a steampunk aesthetic to it that I’m really enjoying. Imagine a mix of early WWI, American Civil War, and a dash of steampunk, and you can see why I’m excited to get my hands on it. There’s a lot more information about the game in our forum thread. so go check it out there.
