‘Elder Scrolls: Legends’ Gauntlet Mode Launches This Weekend

TouchArcade Rating:

Bethesda’s Elder Scrolls: Legends (Free) continues to add ways to play the game, and now it’s ready to add a new mode called Gauntlet. The Gauntlet is a tournament-style mode that gives you the chance to put your best decks to the test against other players. Gauntlets come in various forms and will offer exclusive cosmetic prices among other things. The first Gauntlet, which is also the simplest, is called Rumble, and it will run from Saturday, June 10th until Monday, June 12th. In Gauntlet, you pick a deck from your collection and battle until you reach nice wins or three losses. It’s a lot like Hearthstone‘s Heroic Tavern Brawls. It will cost you 150 Gold or one Event Ticket to enter, and you can get some pretty good prizes if you don’t completely suck.

I like how Bethesda keeps adding new ways of playing the game in pretty quick succession, and I hope the developers continue to do so in the future as well. Since you can’t constantly give new cards to players, giving them new ways to use their existing collections offers enough variety to keep them happy.
