Hothead Announces ‘Kill Shot Virus’, Combining Sniper Games and Zombie Outbreaks

Hothead Games has announced that the latest game in its series of sniper-based shooters, Kill Shot, is set to launch in May. Kill Shot Virus throws the ever-popular-to-kill zombie into the mix. You’ll have to use your array of high-powered weaponry to take out these zombie hordes in a post-apocalyptic world. Where Kill Shot Virus will mix things up is in new missions where you’ll be up close and personal with the zombies with shotguns and assault weapons. Additionally, Urban Onslaught and Urban Pandemic modes will test you as you face off against powerful super zombies. I’ve often said when the zombie apocalypse comes, I’m leading a debaucherous cult, but I’m fine with being turned into a super zombie, too.

There will be over 100 missions in total, and the game will go live worldwide on May 11th on iOS and Android. You can pre-register for the game on Google Play right now, but if you have to play this now, Kill Shot Virus is soft launched in several regions including Canada. Check out our guide to download soft launch games, and check out the game’s forum thread if you’re playing this one.
