‘GBA4iOS’ Developer Riley Testut Announces Beta for New Emulator ‘Delta’

Riley Testut, developer of the famed GBA4iOS, is back with a new multi-system emulator in the works, called Delta. Oh, and he’s looking for beta testers. Delta is set to support a number of Nintendo systems at first, with all 3 Game Boy generations supported, along with the Super Nintendo and the Nintendo 64. More consoles are expected to be added in the future. Oh, and the GBAiOS project is officially dead now, but this is the obvious successor. GBA4iOS remains perhaps the peak iOS emulator because it was so well-made, and there’s a cool 2-year anniversary video from earlier this year to check out:

If you want to test it out, read the beta testing announcement here. There’s a form to fill out, and because demand is expected to be high, making some promotional artwork might help you get into the beta. No word on how this all will be distributed, but that’s a good thing: don’t want to tip one’s hand to Apple quite so early on. Beta testing signups end on December 16th with testers announced on the 19th when the first beta releases.
