Atari Soft Launches ‘RollerCoaster Tycoon Touch’ in New Zealand

It turns out that Atari has a new RollerCoaster Tycoon game in development, called RollerCoaster Tycoon Touch that they have soft launched in the Netherlands and New Zealand. Developing a theme park and roller coasters in 3D environments is the game here, with card packs that players can collect that get them the materials they need to build the rides, coasters, and attractions that they so desire to make. Atari is publishing this one, with Nvizzio, developers of RollerCoaster Tycoon World behind the development of this one.

If you’re curious to check this one out for yourself, then the game is available on the App Store in New Zealand and the Netherlands. The IAP of RollerCoaster Tycoon 4 (Free) was rather controversial when the game was paid, so I’m interested to see how people react to this free-to-play version that isn’t hiding its monetization at all. If you decide to check this out, we have a forum thread for the game where you can discuss more. As well, if you don’t know how to get soft launch games, check out our handy guide on how to download them.
