‘Sproggiwood’ on Sale for Lowest Price Yet

TouchArcade Rating:

Freehold Games’ Sproggiwood ($4.99) has just gone on sale for its lowest price yet, at $1.99, down from its regular price of $4.99. Now, the game was $9.99 at launch after it was $14.99 on PC at launch, but the game got a permanent price drop at one point to help out with its long tail. But now, you can get the game at its absolute cheapest price point yet, for a limited time.

This is a rather fun roguelike that’s accessible enough for entry-level players to check out. And its town-building elements offer another layer of interest. But don’t be mistaken – this is a serious roguelike made by developers who have a passion for the genre. Plus, this one has controller support, who doesn’t like that? Keep an eye out in the future – probably distant, but still someday – for Caves of Qud, which is a definite hardcore roguelike complete with ASCII graphics. It’s in early access on Steam, but the developers are prepping for a mobile version someday.
