Yesterday we posted that the Pokemon Go (Free) 1.0.1 hit the App Store, and with it came stability improvements as well as fixing the whole Google account permissions thing. Problem was, as people quickly started discovering, updating to 1.0.1 broke people’s ability to log into the game via their Pokemon Trainer Club login. It’s a pretty typical App Store SNAFU, really. Race out an update to fix one thing, break other stuff in the process, repeat.

Well, if you grab the 1.0.2 update which just hit the App Store you should once again be able to log into the game using your Pokemon Trainer Club account. Now all we need is some better server stability, and Pokemon Go to be released worldwide and we’ll be in business.
