‘Epic of Kings’ Hits Apple Approval Speed Bump, Will Be Released Once Approved

This week has been a little weird for game releases, but really when you stack National Cabbage Day yesterday back to back with Drink Wine Day today, of course something crazy is going to happen. That included Rayman Classic (Free) squeaking out at around 4:00 AM this morning instead of along with the normal pack of releases, and the highly anticipated Epic of Kings getting rejected by Apple and straight up missing its intended release window.

This news comes courtesy of their Facebook page:

There has been an issue with the approval of game meta data by Apple so the game will unfortunately miss the Thursday release target.

The silver lining of all this is that while they’ve got no idea when the game will actually get approved, as soon as it does, they’re releasing it. Keep your eyes peeled here on TouchArcade, their Facebook, or our forums, as it’s going to be a race as to who posts news of the game actually being released first… Whenever it actually happens.
