‘Hidden Folks’ is a New ‘Where’s Waldo’-Style Game from a Developer of ‘Fingle’

Adriaan de Jongh, who you should know from his games with Game Oven Studios, because there’s really nothing like their output of titles: Fingle ($1.99), Bounden ($2.99), and more have few analogues in the gaming world. While Game Oven is unfortunately done, de Jongh is back to making games, as he has just announced his new game with illustrator Sylvain Tegroeg: Hidden Folks.

The idea behind Hidden Folks is that it’s something of an interacive Where’s Waldo type game, where you have to play with the environment in order to find different characters. The challenge comes in from the game being monochrome and a very busy world, so you have to look carefully and dig into what and where everything is. The game is planned to launch simultaneously on Steam, iOS, and Apple TV in late 2016. Check out the game’s website where you can see GIFs of the game and sign up to the mailing list as well.
