Andrew Morrish’s ‘Go Home Dizzy’ Out Now, with ‘Dizzy Knight’ Kerfuffle Resolved

TouchArcade Rating:

The story that rocked the iOS gaming world – or at least was amusing to me, was when it turned out that there were two different games called Dizzy Knight in development. Well, Andrew Morrish, developer of Super Puzzle Platformer, has changed the name of his game and has released it on to the App Store as Go Home Dizzy (Free). The other game is still called Dizzy Knight, and is in development right now.

Go Home Dizzy works by giving you a constantly-spinning knight, and having you tap to go forward in the direction they’re facing. You collect bones which can be used to upgrade your knight mid-game, such as increasing your spin speed. It’s interesting how there’s a similar core concept to both this and Dizzy Knight in that you have to time the spin of your knight with the enemies, but the way the two games use this mechanic is entirely different. It’s kind of fascinating. Check out Go Home Dizzy as a free download right now.
