Roguelike Survival Game ‘Skyhill’ Heading to Mobile in February 2016

Way back in January of last year, Mandragora Games announced their roguelike survival game Skyhill on our forums. It’s been a long road since then, but it looks like Skyhill is finally heading to mobile early next year. The premise behind Skyhill is really cool. World War III has broken out, and use of biological weapons has basically turned the majority of the world’s population into grotesque and dangerous mutants. Of course, none of this has bothered you too much as you’ve been holed up safe and sound in your luxury penthouse apartment in the Skyhill Hotel as all this drama has unfolded.

Well, that safety is about to come to an end, as your supplies are finally running out and the mutants are becoming more aggressive by the day. It’s time for you to strike out on your own, making your way down each floor of the hotel in search of supplies to survive and weapons to take on the mutants.

Skyhill boasts randomly generated levels so it’s a different experience each time you play. You’ll be scavenging for useful items to craft into weapons, and your character has special abilities to unlock as well as you gain experience through playing. As you can see from the trailer above, Skyhill is already available on Steam. It released earlier this month and has had a very positive reception so far. Mandragora is taking the next several months to tweak Skyhill for mobile touchscreen devices, and they expect to have it arrive for iOS, Android and Amazon devices by February of 2016, with Daedalic Entertainment doing the publishing. I’ll leave you with the first work in progress shot of Skyhill on an iPhone, and be sure to follow along in the forums for more updates in the months to come.
