Prepare to Fail a Lot in No Can Win’s ‘Super Bounce Back’

No Can Win’s Jared Bailey, developer of many fine games like Cubed Rally Redline (Free) and a bunch of fun, small games, is back with an interesting little platformer called Super Bounce Back. This is a game where you have to bounce a ball along a series of midair platforms, bouncing off of a wall to get a star, and then make it back to the start. You bounce automatically in the air off of the ground, but can bounce down off of a platform by tapping on the screen. Every spot you bounce on gets you a star, but doing the fast downward bounce gets you a smaller star, and often triggers spikes on many platforms.

So, the game becomes about figuring out the best path and using your fast bounces well. The game’s scoring is interesting: your overall high score is tracked, but every level you complete lets you go to a harder one the next time around, with the possibility for higher scores. You can skip a level, but it lowers your skill rating a bit. This is an interesting little game of casual-friendly fast-reaction gameplay mixed with some real risk/reward and thoughtful planning, You can check this out as a free download this Thursday, September 17th.
