‘Loot and Legends’, Based on ‘Card Hunter’, Makes Appearance in Canada

One of the criticisms of last year’s Card Dungeon ($2.99) was its similarities to the PC game Card Hunter, being games with similar visual styles, a card focus, and dungeon crawling. Well, Card Hunter is making its way to mobile at last, as Seattle-based DropForge soft-launched Loot and Legends the other day, which is based on Card Hunter. You control a team of heroes through a dungeon, collecting cards and progressing through dungeons made to look like a tabletop game.

Loot and Legends

Unfortunately, this one was only up for about a day or so before getting pulled, and reports of server issues started to pop up in our forum thread for the game. The game was only available in Canada, so it’s possible that it’s only temporarily gone as of publication. Still, with this being the first mention of this game since its announcement last year, it’ll be interesting to see this one finally make its way out to the public at large. DropForge does have a beta signup on its home page, that may be one way to get your hands on this sooner than later if the soft launch version doesn’t pop back up.
