It’s been just over a month since The Pokémon Company International launched an official iPad client for their popular Pokémon trading card game called Pokémon TCG Online (Free), and today that game has received its first significant update since release. The update adds support for the Pokémon TCG XY: Phantom Forces expansion, the XY Trainer Kit—Bisharp and Wigglytuff 2-player set, and some new promotional cards.
You’ll be able to buy the XY – Phantom Forces booster packs using Trainer Tokens in the shop, or you’ll be able to use redeem codes found in the physical versions of XY – Phantom Forces booster packs and theme decks in order to unlock digital versions in the Pokémon TCG Online app, according to the update description. The update also comes with some tweaks and bug fixes, including an option to login automatically.
